Woman in Blue Shirt talking to Man in Khaki ShirtPlan now to attend the upcoming Union County Heritage Festival & Wild Turkey 5K Run & Walk, Saturday, September 18, 2021. The Heritage Festival & 5K are being held in conjunction with the 4-H Expo. All of the activities will be held at the Union County Agriculture Center and this year will include events & activities as the newly opened Special Events Center. The Heritage Festival & 5K are presented by the Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Union County, in partnership with Union County Public Works.

Runners at 5KThe Heritage Festival is a free, fun, family event with the mission of sharing information about our natural and cultural heritage. This year’s theme is “Thriving with Nature.”  There will be educational exhibits aimed at educating children and adults about our culture, plants, insects, wildlife, and natural resources, as well as lots of hands-on activities for the kids, live music, a raffle, and of course food!

Man Loading CannonExhibitors and vendors will include lawn and garden vendors, food vendors, environmentally friendly businesses, health and fitness groups, local artisans, local farms, educationally focused exhibitors, and non-profit organizations who do good things in our community. For more information about the Heritage Festival or to register for the Wild Turkey 5K visit the Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Union County website.
