The North Carolina Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NCACDEP), together with the team of CRD professionals from NC State Extension, is hosting a 2-day in-person conference in Wilmington May 17-19. This conference, titled “Sharing Our Stories, Connecting Communities” will feature Dr. Brian Raison of The Ohio State University as the keynote speaker, fifteen different topic sessions, an optional full-day Facilitation Workshop, and an optional end of conference boat excursion to Eagles Island. We invite colleagues in all disciplines of Extension to join us to make connections and explore making NC communities more resilient and economically viable. This conference seeks to bring together Extension professionals from across the state to share resources, programs, information, and experiences relating all program areas to community development. The first conference to bring us together in person in two years, we intend for its sessions to be interactive and offer ways for all to share collective experiences while also building our collective and individual “toolboxes” as we seek to meet the educational needs of our diverse communities. Capacity is limited, so register for the conference today. Register for sessions in LMS.
