Collapse ▲The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Swain County Center is now taking orders for 3-4 foot tall apple, pear, and plum trees along with 3 year old blueberry varieties. Additional plant options include, blackberry transplants, flowering trees and shrubs and fruiting and flowering crabapple varieties. Prices range from $8 to $34. All plant material will arrive bare-rooted. The 4-H Plant Sale will run through Thursday, February 23, 2023. All proceeds go to support 4-H programming in Swain County.

All orders and checks must be received by Thursday, February 23, 2023
- Plants will be ready for pick up tentatively around March 20-24, 2023. Our office will contact you immediately upon their arrival and work with you on picking up your order. We strongly encourage that plants be picked up the day we call to ensure best quality.
- All sales and purchases are final – The quality of the plants will need to be evaluated by the purchaser at the time of pick-up. The 4-H program cannot replace or refund you for plants that perish once they leave the Cooperative Extension Office.
- Printed material on the care of plants will be available upon request.
