Interest Survey and Meeting Announcement

Are you a Swain County Youth, Age 5-18, and interested in learning how to care for rabbits, chickens, sheep, or horses? Are you interested in learning how to judge livestock, or put your skills to the test in Quizbowl Competitions? Fill out our Livestock Club and Bronc Busters Horse Club interest survey, and let us know what your thoughts are!

Special Note: This survey is for all interested youth, regardless of current membership in 4-H or family ownership of livestock. 

Planning ahead….

The Livestock Club and Bronc Busters Horse Club will have its first meeting in early January, so don’t forget to write it on your Important Dates to remember as you transition calendars and planners! For our super planners out there, meetings will be twice a month, either on a Tuesday or Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

* Attendees are expected to take notes of information shared. Please bring a notebook and a pencil or pen.
The two clubs will be meeting together for a while, and then split into their respective animal specialties. Club Leaders Patti Jo Taylor and Sydney Franklin have already planned for Farm Visits, attending clinics, and going to area shows.
