Come and create a masterpiece worthy of entry into the Swain County Fair! In this 3 series class, you will be guided in creating 3 separate acrylic pieces on canvas with the help of Melissa Owen, owner and operator of Art Expressions of WNC. Younger painters may need to bring an adult to help them.

Swain County 4-H is partnering with Mainspring Conservation Trust for this incredible hands on learning experience. Swim with the fish! See underwater life and have some fun in the water! Learn all about the critters living in our local rivers.
Youth education scientists from Mainspring Conservation Trust, a regional land trust based out of Franklin, will lead the snorkeling expedition. A lifeguard will be on duty. Masks, snorkels, wetsuits, and viewbuckets will be provided. Pre-registration required.
What to Bring: swimsuit, water shoes, towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and bottled water.
