Description: Get "Moving in the Mountains" with Cardio Dance Boxing. Improve your body, health and mindset! All fitness levels are welcome. Join us for a variety of exercise types: Strength Training, Step Exercise, Cardiovascular, and HIIT.

Do You Need Help Paying for Your Medicare Prescription Medications?

If you answered yes to this question and have limited income and resources, you may qualify for ‘EXTRA HELP’ (the low-income subsidy) to pay your prescription drug costs. Receiving this help will not change your monthly Social Security benefits. (This program is not available to Medicaid recipients).

INCOME GUIDELINES are $1,471.25 per month for an individual and $1,991.25 per month for a couple living together.

Description: DESCRIPTION:All of our Pesticide Safety Schools are online until further notice. If the school is able to transition to an in-person format, we will notify you in advance by email. To register online, please follow this link.

This day-and-a-half school is offered online and requires a computer or tablet with a webcam. On day one, class begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. Time for breaks and an hour-long lunch are given throughout day one. On day two, the school runs from 8:00-11:30 AM. The Zoom link, agenda, handouts, and important information will be sent to the registrant in an email a few days prior to the school.

Exams are in-person. You must register for the exam(s) separately with the NCDA&CS by phone (919.733.3556) or online. The Pesticide Safety School offers Core training on the first day and, on the second day, the following subcategory:

Walking is a great and simple exercise that's good for nearly everyone. Walking is easy to do. Moving your body and getting fresh air can help you stay happy and healthy.

Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes. Meet at Deep Creek Picnic Area, Bryson City every Wednesday in January (6, 13, 20, and 27) and February (3, 10, 17, and 24) - weather permitting.
