About this year's Swain County Agricultural Fair
A County Fair-style festival, complete with judging of vegetables, eggs, and flowers; agricultural demos; craft vendors; food vendors and live music!!
AUGUST 21 & 22, 2026
- Friday: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Livestock Show, Food Trucks, Craft Vendors & Battle of the Bands
- Saturday: 11:00 am- 6:00 pm
- Music Headliner and Everything Fair

Admission is $10 per vehicle
What can you expect to see at the Swain County Agricultural Fair? Live music, Appalachian-style clogging, food trucks and craft vendors, youth livestock shows and activities for kids. Also, prize winning entries in agricultural produce, home canned and baked goods, 4-H arts and crafts, and more.

- Educational Booths - Educational Booths are FREE for not-for-profit type entities. Application deadline: Friday, August 7, 2026
- Craft Vendor Booths - All vendor items must be handcrafted by applicant onlyApplication deadline: Friday, August 7, 2026.
