What does floral design have to do with therapeutic horticulture?

Floral design is more than creating a beautiful arrangement. Working with flowers and plants can support our physical, mental, and emotional well-being! Therapeutic horticulture uses plants and hands-on activities to encourage:

  • Relaxation & Stress Relief
  • Focus & Mental Engagement
  • Movement & Hands-on Activity
  • Social Connection
  • Creativity & Self-expression
