Traditionally, Crabgrass is know as a weed. This view is changing with more producers utilizing the cultivated type Crabgrass as part of their forage system.

It’s nutritive value is far superior to other warm-season annual options. It has a high crude protein, high digestibility, and low neutral detergent fiber contents.

  • Seeding rates range from 4 to 6 pounds of pure live seed per acre
